Sounds of Learning by Amy Nance

Quiet? No. No quiet here.
Learning is noise.
Voices blended together.
Abrupt laughter breaking the dull roar.
An angered voice momentarily rising above in hopes of being heard and understood.

Quiet discussion.
Loud sharing.
A symphony made from the mixing of the two.
Noise to most,
But music to the ears of an experienced listener.

  1. I really like it! That sounds like most of our classrooms. :)

  2. This poem sounds like our Methods class. I can almost hear Pilkington shutting his door. Great work.
